SERVICES
Building Services in South Waikato
From structural renovations to builder-led feasibility assessments, Builders Waikato takes on projects that require real accountability.
Why I Founded Builders Waikato: A Personal Message from Brad
Brad started Builders Waikato because South Waikato homeowners were being let down: quoted low, hit with undisclosed variations, and left to deal with non-compliant structural work for which they had no legal recourse. We built this company on a different model: one Licensed Building Practitioner, one phone number, the same person on-site from the first conversation to the final Code Compliance Certificate.
We work in the communities where we live. Every Friday during your build, you receive a structured written progress update. Every variation goes to you in writing before a hammer moves. Every project is backed by a 12-month workmanship guarantee with a personal annual walkthrough. If you want a builder who disappears after you sign, we are not the right fit. If you want one who answers the phone at 7 pm when something comes up, keep reading.
OUR PROCESS
How We Work
A streamlined approach to ensure your project is delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard.
Planning & Feasibility
We assess your site, understand your goals, and provide a fully itemised estimate before any commitment.
Consent & Construction
We manage the council consent process and execute the structural build with technical precision.
Finishing & Handover
Licensed trades complete the fit-out, followed by a documented handover and our 12-month walkthrough.

The Builders Waikato Handshake and Triple-Backed Guarantee
Three explicit promises. No fine print.
Promise 1 - The 10-Year LBP Structural Warranty
All Restricted Building Work is completed under Brad's LBP licence to NZS 3604. A formal Memorandum of LBP Record of Work is lodged with council at completion.
Promise 2 - The 12-Month Post-Completion Walkthrough
Exactly 12 months after handover, Brad personally returns to inspect and fix any settlement adjustments in doors, joinery, and trim, at our cost.
Promise 3 - No Unapproved Variations
If unexpected work arises during the build, we stop, document it, and present a written variation with the exact cost. Nothing proceeds without your written approval.
